Mr. Raymond Whitley, Principal, and the Hope Academy staff would like to welcome all students, staff, parents and guardians to the 2010-2011 school year.
Dr. D.Z. Cofield, Superintendent, was the Keynote Speaker at the Hope Academy Graduation on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. In Part 3 of his speech, he cautioned the graduates to “Be Careful of your Associates” because their actions and attitudes could influence the graduates’ future.
Hope Academy is offering online courses for students who want to get ahead this summer.

Hope Academy students are seeking responsible and caring adults as mentors.
Hope Academy will be offering tutorials in math and science on Saturdays.
Hope Academy opened on August 24th. In just one week, we have seen tremendous growth in our enrollment. We also are offering evening classes to anyone in grade 9 to 12 and those individuals interested in preparation courses for GED completion.
Students needing to recover lost credits or get ahead are invited to participate in our fully web-based virtual school. Participation requires evening attendance. Please see your counselor for details or call Ms. Littles at 832.217.3240.
