Dr. D.Z. Cofield, Superintendent, was the Keynote Speaker at the Hope Academy Graduation on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 a.m. In Part 3 of his speech, he cautioned the graduates to “Be Careful of your Associates” because their actions and attitudes could influence the graduates’ future.
Hope Academy proudly announces its first teacher of the year, Ms. Kesha McNeil. Ms. McNeil is our daytime science instructor and sponsor of Hope Academy’s Girls’ Club.
Ms. McNeil demonstrates the qualities that Hope Academy looks for in its faculty, including professionalism and a positive attitude. She inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn about Science using energetic teaching strategies and hands-on techniques. Ms. McNeil is poised and articulate and is able to handle the taxing schedule of our charter school. Above all she has the respect of students, parents, and her colleagues.
Congratulations Ms. McNeil and thank you for all that you do!
Hope Academy parents and students are working together with a goal in sight–a trip! Through academics, behavior, extra-curricular activities and parental involement, many students at Hope Academy will earn their way to a trip at the end of the school year. Hope Academy’s Eagles, our premier basketball team, are searching for sponsors to help purchase basketball jerseys. If you are able, please use the website to donate $25 or more to purchase jerseys. The boys have already hosted a successful carwash and are planning more upcoming fundraisers. Please support your Eagles!

Hope Academy will be offering TAKS tutorials in math and science on Saturdays, which can be used to appeal course credit due to poor attendance. Tutorials will be held from 9am-12pm on the following dates:
